GOOD MORNING SUPER HEROS!!
Today we are reviewing the two past: Simple and Continuous.
PAST S I M PLE :
remember, verbs change for the past:
A ) Regular Verbs:= +
"-ed" or "d",at the end of the verb, e.g.: call – called, save-saved
B ) Irregular Verbs: NO “ed”, but different forms fo every irregular verb:see – saw, go - went
We use
SIMPLE PAST FOR:
1. ACTIONS IN THE PAST HAPPENING ONE AFTER ANOTHER:
She came home, switched on the
computer and checked her e-mails.
2. MENTIONING AN ACTION THAT HAPPENED IN THE PAST:

IMPORTANT!!
Today is not the past, NEVER
say: “Today I went to...” because today is present.J
The correct verb is: “Today I have gone. This morning (=today) I have
bought a pen”
